It's Ginormous!

Finished Fuzzy Foot

Finished up my first fuzzy foot slipper a few moments ago. I took a few liberties with the pattern as I knitted it on DPNs instead of circulars. For the gusset and toe decreases, I followed the basic decreases given in Sensational Knitted Socks. Nice quick and easy knit to get my mind off the epic baby blanket and Hub socks. Tomorrow evening, I'll cast on the second fuzzy foot. I won't be felting them until I gift them so they can be felted down to the right fit. :)

Fuzzy foot compared to my mitt - see, it's big!

Is that supposed to be for you or you husband? Good god, it's huge!

Actually, neither of us. I should have stated that the completed socks will be put through a hot/cold washer cycle for felting, shrinking the wool and making a dense fabric for a slipper. :) These will fit a women's medium sized foot once they've been shrunk into submission. Though, the thought of giving Hubs a pair of huge pink socks is pretty amusing to me :)
