Nostalgia TV

On our way home from dinner tonight, Hubs and I were discussing shows that we used to watch when we were little. Of course, I had to come home and look up old clips on YouTube. I used to love this old HBO intro clip. In my 2 or 3 year old brain, I knew that this music meant Fraggle Rock was coming on - woot!!

Ha. I never would have thought of this, but that music brought back a very vivid but very different memory: sitting in my friend J's basement, waiting for the start of a movie in which (could we dare hope) we might actually see a real female human nipple. Or TWO!

Same year, different age, different gender...

I can not believe you were only 2 or 3 when Fraggle Rock was on. I was way older than that - too old for Fraggle Rock in fact.

And to Frank: Not to burst your bubble, but you may have been a little older than LKM at the time. I doubt you were 2 or 3 years old waiting for a nipple - but what do I know!

Sylvia, no bubble to burst, I know I'm on the downside of 29. But, for the record, you can see that I did admit to being a different age...

And, also just for the record, I'm pretty sure the movie must have been Stripes.

Frank - Glad I could bring back some childhood memories, though they're rather different from my Fraggle Rock ones. :)

Sylvia - I was right in that targeted audience age for Fraggle Rock when it was showing.
