Yeah, I've actually been knitting! Main work has been on the Opal Tiger socks. I decided that these will be a Mother's Day present, so I better get cracking!
Much more lace inspiration lies within!
Since the most recent Knitpicks catalog has been sent, I've been enamored with the Feather and Fan Shawl. I scoured over all the local bookstore and vendor at the fiber fest trying to get my hands on a copy of "A Gathering of Lace". Being the impatient yet cheapskate person that I am, I ordered a copy from Overstock. And waited...and waited...and waited. Finally, it arrived on my doorstep last night, and I've been drooling over the lace projects since. Can't wait to cast on!

Oooh! I need to get that book. My SP sent me Victorian Lace Today which I spent last night drooling over.
Speaking of which, your package is so close to ready. But I have today off and I will be getting it out today. No, really.
And it has been really fun shopping for you! :)
Is your yarn harder to use after you've drooled all over it? I would think it would get crusty, like an old dog toy.
"Honey, why does your new shawl stick straight out in the back?"
Rincaro:
VLT has absolutely GORGEOUS projects, doesn't it? I've been told to not bring it to family gatherings lest I have tons of knitting requestes from family. :)
Phollower:
Only drooling over the book, no drool on the yarn. :)
